For the fourth consecutive year, the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN), part of the Galician government, will provide grants for the hiring of professionals for R+D+I activities within Galicia through the Program Principia 2019. The objective of this government-funded program is to promote and maintain talent, foster professional development and stimulate demand in the public and private sectors in research within the strategic area framework in the Autonomous Community of Galicia (RIS3).

Xesol Innovation is one of the Galician companies to benefit from the Programa Principia for another year. Participating companies and organizations will receive grants to contract professionals for a minimum of one year to carry out R+D+I activities.

The year, the number of participating companies and organizations has increased by 30%. Of the contracts offered through the program, 79% will be permanent and 50% of the hired professionals will be women. Additionally, the Programa Principia helps to promote the first professional experience of technical employees being that 46% of the candidates selected do not have previous professional experience.

Programs such as this are important to help foster the employment of young qualified professionals in companies and organizations dedicated to investigation, development, and innovation and to help promote innovation within the region of Galicia.

Xesol Innovation, S.A., is a recipient of the Programa Principia 2019 with the record number 023_IN848C_2019_672335.  Thanks to this program, two technology professionals have been promoted. These employees will be co-financed by the Xunta de Galicia under the resolution of the Galician Innovation Agency of December 17, 2018.
